The Second QAMT- Ukraine Conference Took Place in Kiev
May 27, 2008A group of lead test engineers from Eleks Software Ltd took part in the International Conference “Quality Assurance: Management & Technologies (QAMT Ukraine - Spring 2008)” that was held in Kiev on May 23-24, 2008. The forum was initiated by Software Quality Center AlphATesT. It was their second attempt to organize a specialized Quality Assurance, QA outsourcing, and QA management conference in Ukraine.
The topics that raised most interest among our participants included certification programs for testers, CMMI certification processes and practices, as well as examples of practical quality assurance cases. Even more important was an opportunity to network and discuss common challenges and aspirations with colleagues from other cities and countries. This time the conference hosted participants from Ukraine, Poland, and India.

Eleks is Proud to Re-confirm its Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status
March 3, 2008On February 15, 2008, Eleks Software celebrated its second anniversary as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Now we are proud to notify our partners and customers that Eleks has succeeded in re-confirming this status for a new partnership year with two major Microsoft competencies: ISV/Software Solutions and Custom Development Solutions (Web specialization).
The ISV/Software Solutions competency was designed by Microsoft for technology partners with proven expertise in developing and marketing packaged software applications based on Microsoft technologies. This competency was granted to Eleks for its Medical Information System “Doctor Eleks” that had been successfully installed in several medical institutions of Ukraine.
The Custom Development Solutions competency was awarded in recognition of Eleks’ achievements in utilizing such Microsoft technologies as Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server, Windows Server, and Windows XP, for developing web-based solutions that help customers optimize their business and operational effectiveness.

February 5, 2008On February 1, 2008, Eleks Software got an official certificate of copyright registration from the State Department of Intellectual Property of Ukraine for its Medical Information System “Doctor Eleks.” This means that the product copyright is now explicitly laid out, so that any attempts to infringe upon it will be considered illegal. The official registration of a copyright in the public record provides system users with better assurance of the product authenticity, thus protecting them from the use of any illegal copies of the system.
Registration was performed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Copyright and Related Rights" of July 11, 2001 No.2627-III.
