Java Developer

ELEKS announces a vacancy opening for Java Developer at Lviv office.

Main Responsibilities:

• Architecting complex n-tier applications
• Designing new product features for creating, deploying and managing learning content.
• Resolving product issues
• Participating in daily Scrums as part of our Agile development methodology.

Mandatory requirements:

• 5 or more years software development experience using the following technologies:

- Java development

- XML and XSLT development

- HTML development

- Linux/Unix development

• Experience architecting complex software solutions involving Java and XML
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Energetic, positive, with the ability to bring a “can do” attitude to challenges
• Ability to work well with peers and managers

Optional requirements:

• HTML 5 experience
• Strong background in software patterns (Gamma, et. Al)
• Experience developing under the Agile methodology
