ELEKS Adopts a New System for Software Requirements Management

April 12, 2007

Due to increase of ELEKS customer base, service offerings and project complexity during the past years, it was decided to adopt a new requirements management system. Its main purpose was to improve and uniform requirements management processes across the company. The new solution had to be efficient, well-centralized and easy-to-use.

After thorough evaluation of a large number of products available on the market, ELEKS has selected Telelogic DOORS®, the leading solution for gathering, tracking and managing requirements throughout a project’s lifecycle. The solution’s key capabilities include:

  • optimizing the business alignment of the requirements
  • optimizing the scope of projects
  • optimizing the relationship with customers, and
  • conducting the requirements-driven development.

ELEKS experts agreed that such a sophisticated requirements management system will allow project teams to better organize and prioritize software requirements. Also they predict that with DOORS project managers will be freed up to spend much more time with ELEKS’ customers and, as a result, ELEKS will be able to deliver solutions that are better aligned with customers’ requests and market needs.
