About ELEKS

ELEKS is founded by Skrypnyk Sr. and Jr. as an independent enterprise at the facility of Lviv State Polytechnic Institute. The name “ELEKS” stands for “ELEctricity,” “Knowledge” and “Systems” and highlights the primary business area at the moment – development of science-intensive power engineering and power distribution systems.
From the very beginning the company establishes client–orientation and attraction of best IT talents to be the most critical values in determining its success.
DAKAR application is released as the first fully integrated system bringing together all instruments necessary to automatically determine operation modes of electrical power systems and graphically display the results. The system is implemented in over 20 power systems and networks in Ukraine and Russia.
REGIME application is launched for transient process simulation and non-symmetrical steady state calculation of power distribution systems.
