- ELEKS is founded by Skrypnyk Sr. and Jr. as an independent enterprise at the facility of Lviv State Polytechnic Institute. The name “ELEKS” stands for “ELEctricity,” “Knowledge” and “Systems” and highlights the primary business area at the moment – development of science-intensive power engineering and power distribution systems.
