ELEKS developed a comprehensive online poker system.  The product encompassed both creating an attractive user interface and front-end/back-end development of management and an administration interface.  ELEKS engineers were required create the games game’s algorithm statistical behaviour, requirements for creation and system, architecture, perform beta testing, launch the product and provide customer support.  Put simply, the client had an idea and ELEKS took it from there to launch a turn-key online poker system.

The system is easily reconfigurable to support all known poker types (Omaha, Hold’em, etc.). It targets a broad range of customers.  The system has the potential to be used with on a number of modern smartphone.

A state of the art stage control system with human safety in mind.

What ELEKS Did: 

Since 2002, ELEKS has worked closely with a leading supplier of mechanical automation and control equipment to the theatrical, themed attraction, motion picture, and touring production markets to develop a sophisticated stage control system aimed at operating entertainment automation machinery to improve the customer’s line of theater equipment controls, eventually culminating in an entire redesign of their stock equipment and software package to meet the various technical requirements of different artistic performances and shows.

The ELEKS hardware team worked on development of the core system components, including safety devices, axis motion controllers, handheld control devices, operator consoles, and other support hardware. Additionally, ELEKS software team developed a comprehensive 3D modeling system for the stage automation system that assisted in defining flight paths. These flight paths are fed to a real time system that control multiple high-speed winches with a number of built in safety features meant to protect human life.

The key functionalities that were implemented include: Real-time hardware control and monitoring; Motion algorithm designs; Network performance optimization; Real-time monitoring of large networks; Rule-based system control and protection scripting.

To allow iPhone users to collect, store and easily access personal information of their partner's profile, a personal calendar, reminders, etc.

What ELEKS Did: 

ELEKS developed a custom iPhone app that is currently rated as a 5-star rated iOS application that makes life easier for men - and more romantic for women.  The application is intended to help men keep track of information that is important to their partner.  Men can concentrate on listening to important facts, and later, record this information on their iOS device in an organized manner, for later use when it’s needed.  This includes basic information on and about the partner’s contacts, detailed personal information such as height, clothing and shoe sizes, ring size, as well as what the partner’s likes or dislikes are, etc.  This iOS application can be accessed anytime and anywhere.  With built-in reminders, it will be hard to forget those important dates, birthdays and anniversaries.

The data is stored securely on the iOS device itself.  The structure of categories in the application can be easily customized.  The data can be collected via direct user input, importing pictures or scanning barcodes. 

A single code base allows this application to switch between English and German.

What ELEKS Did: 

ELEKS created a custom iPhone application that would allow users to create custom postcards on an iPhone and to add custom texts and pictures. Using this iPhone app, a user can then send the postcard electronically to the post office and make a payment on-line to have them printed out and sent by regular mail to specified recipient’s address.  All the user’s electronic postcards and related data are stored on the device itself.  

The application is available in German and in English.

What ELEKS Did: 

ELEKS created this iPhone lifestyle application to be an online magazine for those users who are constantly on move, looking for the hottest street styles and to share views on current fashion trends.  The application allows its users to show their stylish photos in a gallery, be evaluated by other users who use the same application, and receive the news on shopping, trends and people daily.  It also offers information on the online magazine events and free game installation.

This iPhone application can switch between German and in English.
