At ELEKS Training Academy we offer a qualification improvement course for non-experienced IT-specialists in order to further their academic education. The main objective of the Academy is to train attendees in modern technologies and their practical applications.

ELEKS Training Academy operates in two formats:

ELEKS Training Centre at Lviv National Ivan Franko University

ELEKS Training Centre is established by ELEKS in collaboration with Lviv National Ivan Franko University. It is currently meant for the students of this University and provides a half-year comprehensive course of lectures on advanced technologies as well as software engineering. ELEKS computer lab is launched to help students get practical skills.

ELEKS Summer Training Courses

ELEKS Summer Training Courses are carried out annually and meant for training non-experienced IT specialists with a view of their further employment.

Lectures are conducted by ELEKS top specialists. The material of each lecture is then reinforced by practical homework tasks. ELEKS  provides all essential training aids as well as supervisors who monitor the students of ELEKS Training Academy in their progress and fulfillment of practical exercises.

Noteworthy, our approach is to provide training free of charge. At the same time, attendance of the course doesn’t oblige the students to join the company. We prefer to employ people who would match the company, the people who want to be there. It makes no sense to hire someone who is going to leave in a few days, or even a few months. We consider participation in ELEKS Training Academy to be a good chance for both the company and the applicants to determine whether they “fit” each other.

The course of lectures covers:

• Object-oriented design
• Databases
• Code writing culture
• GUI design
• OS Windows fundamentals
• Multithreading
• COM and Remoting
• Deployment, and
• Web
Hands-on experience

Overall, skills acquired at the Academy enable the attendees to perform ELEKS' test project. The applicants who successfully complete this test project and defend it in front of the evaluation committee are offered to become trainees at ELEKS. Then they have an opportunity to take part in internal or non-commercial projects of the company. Noteworthy, trainees are treated as the company personnel and their work is paid. On completion of a probation period, every diligent and hard-working trainee is invited to join the company.
